Hazelwood Board of Adjustment Public Hearing Notice

Notice is hereby given of public hearings to be held before the Hazelwood Board of Adjustment on Monday, April 8, 2019, during their meeting beginning at 7 p.m. at Hazelwood City Hall, 415 Elm Grove Lane.

The board will consider the following petitions:

  • ARV2, LLC – 25 Foot Variances of the Required 30 Foot Front Yard Setback at 130 Taylor Road, a Corner Lot, to Permit a Fence with 5 Foot Setbacks from Taylor Road and the Terminus of McGuire Lane
  • Aviator Business Park, LLC – 20 Foot Variance of the Required 30 Foot Front Yard Setback at 6250 North Lindbergh Boulevard, a Corner Lot, for a Proposed Building with a 20 Foot Setback from Ford Lane.

Notice of Public Hearing

The City of Hazelwood will host a public hearing to discuss the estimated allocation of $65,490 in Community Development Block Grant funds which will become available after Jan. 1, 2020.  The public hearing will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thurs., April 4, 2019, in the City Council Chambers, 415 Elm Grove Lane, Hazelwood Mo. 63042.

To further its commitment to fair and equitable treatment of all citizens, the City of Hazelwood has enacted and/or enforces the following:

  • A Fair Housing Ordinance prohibiting unlawful discrimination against any person because of race, sex, color, religion, disability, familial status or national origin;
  • A Policy of Nondiscrimination  on the Basis of Disability in the admission or access to, or employment in, its federally assisted programs or activities;
  • A Policy of Equal Opportunity to Participate in Municipal Programs and Services regardless of race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, familial status, national origin, or political affiliation;
  • A requirement for bidding on CDBG activities that promotes employment opportunities created by HUD funding and that these opportunities by afforded low-income community residents and businesses.

HAZELWOOD CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held before the Hazelwood City Council on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, during their meeting beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Hazelwood City Hall, 415 Elm Grove Lane.

The Council will consider the petition by Midwest Petroleum Company for a 28.25 square foot variance of the 20 square foot maximum size reduction for single-tenant monument signs to permit a 48.25 square foot monument sign at 12202A Missouri Bottom Road (Sec. 510.020).
