The City of Hazelwood has an opportunity for a full time Recreation Supervisor-Aquatics.  The purpose of this position is to schedule, staff, supervise, train, and manage the aquatic facility.  The plan, develop and implement a variety of recreation activities and events for aquatic operations and general recreation programming.  This job requires graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in Parks/Recreation Management or related field, two years recreation and aquatics programming, supervision experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.  A valid driver’s license required, AFO/CPO, lifeguard instructor’s license, CPR and First Aid training preferred.  Starting salary range $44,453 – $48,570. If you like interacting with a variety of people or enjoy helping others improve their quality of life, then we may have a position for you.  The City of Hazelwood’s Parks & Recreation Division is seeking an energetic, customer service-oriented individual to work part-time in the City’s two Recreation facilities.  High school graduation or GED equivalency and one year of college required.  Previous experience in customer service with public contact preferred.  Candidates must be readily available for days, evenings, weekends and holiday shifts, any time between 8 am and 9 pm.  Starting pay is $13.27 per hour, for an average of 12-18 per week.  Duties include but not limited to: front line business transactions, supervision of patrons, provide office clerical and administrative support, upholding City policies, and assisting with special events.  Please apply by close of business on Mon., Sept. 25, 2017.  For more information, contact the Hazelwood Recreation Office at (314) 731-0980.
