Ameren Missouri recently sent a letter to Mayor Robinson stating that crews will soon start trimming trees in Hazelwood that could possibly interfere with electric service. This effort is part of the company's ongoing commitment to deliver safe, reliable service in our community.

St. Louis County Begins Road Work on Howdershell
The St. Louis County Highways and Traffic Department awarded a contract for road improvements this year on Howdershell Road to Pace Construction Company. The construction work is expected to be completed by the end of October 2011.

MO Bottom Road Remains Closed
Missouri Bottom Road from Tulip Tree Lane to St. Louis Mills Boulevard is closed and will not be re-opened until the reconstruction project for this roadway is finished. The project is expected to begin in fall 2011 and be completed by the end of 2012.

Bommarito Automotive Group Increases Presence in Hazelwood
The Bommarito Automotive Group recently added its 16th franchise with the acquisition of the former Valley Ford dealership, located at 675 Dunn Road. It has been renamed Bommarito Ford Superstore, increasing the company's presence in Hazelwood to four large automotive dealerships.
