Hazelwood's 2011 Branch Chipping
Schedule Begins March 14

The City of Hazelwood's Street Maintenance Department will begin its annual collection of tree limbs and shrubbery trimmings on March 14.  Your street will be picked up one (1) time only. So be sure to carefully review the street list linked below to find out your pick-up date.

Residents should stack their trimmings at the curb by 7 a.m. on the Monday morning of their designated pick-up week.  The cut end should be facing the street.  City crews will collect brush on each street one (1) time only during your scheduled collection week; therefore, it is very important that you abide by the street schedule pick-up list linked below.

Branches should not be cut into short pieces.  Please DO NOT put any wire, metal, trash, garden waste or other debris in the brush that is to be chipped. This could cause serious injury to the crew and damage the chipper machinery. TRIMMINGS DONE BY A CONTRACTOR SHOULD BE HAULED AWAY BY THE CONTRACTOR AND NOT LEFT AT THE CURB FOR CITY CREWS TO PICK UP.

No stumps or limbs larger than 6" in diameter will be taken by the City.

If you have any questions in reference to the collection schedule, please call the Street Maintenance Department at 314.731.8701, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
