Recycling Information
To make recycling more convenient, the City of Hazelwood has negotiated its contract with Veolia Environmental Services, Inc., to provide a recycling cart to every one- and two-family resident in our community free of charge. The carts are large enough to handle the increased amount of materials that can be recycled through the “single-stream” collection method. These 65 gallon charts are sturdy and have wheels, making it easy to roll them to the curb. The City’s contract with Veolia provides for the pick-up of solid waste (trash) twice a week and recycling once-a-week. However, residents may reduce their monthly cost by choosing once-a-week trash pick-up and recycling. Recycling Instructions
