The City of Hazelwood will begin its annual collection of tree limbs and shrubbery trimmings for residents during the week of March 10. Residents should stack their trimmings at the curb by 7 a.m. the Monday morning of their designated pick-up week. City crews will collect brush on each street ONE TIME ONLY during your scheduled collection week; therefore, it is very important that you abide by the 2014 pick-up schedule. Click here to view the 2014 pick-up schedule.
Branches SHOULD NOT be cut into shorter pieces. Please DO NOT put any wire, metal, trash, garden waste, or other debris in the brush that is to be chipped. This could cause serious injury to crew members and damage the chipper, which would cause delays with the schedule. No stumps or limbs larger than 6″ in diameter will be taken by the City. Trimmings done by a contractor should be hauled away by the contractor and not left at the curb for city crews to pick up.
If you have any questions in reference to the 2014 pick-up collecton schedule, please call the City’s Street Maintenance Department at (314) 731-8701, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
REMEMBER!! YOUR STREET WILL BE PICKED UP ONE TIME ONLY!! THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS!!
