City of Hazelwood’s Spring Brush Pick-Up Program Begins March 20

Following is the schedule for the annual collection of tree limbs and shrubbery trimmings.  Residents should stack their trimmings at the curb by 7 a.m. the Monday morning of their designated pick-up week.  The trimmings should be stacked with the cut ends facing the street.  City crews will collect the brush on each street ONE TIME ONLY during your scheduled collection week.  Therefore, it is very important that you keep track of the pick-up schedule.

Branches should not be cut into short pieces.  Please do not put any wire, metal trash, garden waste, or other debris in the brush that is to be chipped.  This could cause serious injury to the crew and damagethe chipper machinery.  Trimmings done by a contractor shall be hauled away by the contractor and not left at the curb for city crews to pick up.

No stumps or limbs larger than 6″ in diameter will be taken by the City.

If you have any questions in reference to the collection schedule, please call (314) 731-8701, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  The collection schedule can also be found in the Winter 2017 Parks and Recreation Activity Guide, pages 25-26.

REMEMBER!! YOUR STREET WILL BE PICKED UP ONE TIME ONLY — THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS!!
