Hazelwood Firefighter/Paramedic Offers Halloween Safety Tips on KMOV-TV News 4

HFD-AmandaBoyer&KidsHazelwood firefighter/paramedic Amanda Boyer and her two children, step-son Ben (zombie) and daughter Morgan (Queen Elza), will be in a feature segment about Halloween safety tips on KMOV-TV News 4’s morning newscast tomorrow (Oct. 23) between 4:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.

Boyer will give parents helpful tips about using make-up on kids’ faces, the dangers of wearing a mask at night, use of reflectors on clothing, the need to carry a flashlight/lantern when trick-or-treating, and safe ways to carve a pumpkin.  She also advises parents to throw away any homemade food/snacks that aren’t professionally-wrapped like candy to avoid any possibility of tampering.
