Hazelwood Police Department Offers Opportunities for Residents to Meet Their Police Officers

P.O. Ryan Enge with local residents

The Hazelwood Police Department is offering two great opportunities for residents to meet many of the police officers who patrol their community and get to know them better.  One of them is “Coffee & Cake With A Cop” at McDonald’s Restaurant, 6270 Howdershell Road, on Thurs., May 23, from 8:30 am to 10:00 am, and the other is “Breakfast with Badges” at Denny’s Restaurant, 5789 Campus Parkway, on Tues., June 11, from 8 am to 10 am.

At the McDonald’s event, residents can enjoy complimentary McCafé Coffee and Cake while meeting with the police officers.  No agenda or speeches, just a chance to ask questions, voice concerns, and get to know them better.  A spinning wheel will be used to enable residents to win food coupons.

The HPD is starting up the “Breakfast with Badges” events again with the next one at Denny’s Restaurant on June 11.  In addition to receiving a complimentary breakfast, residents can meet many of the law enforcement officers who serve and protect their community.  It’s a great way to discuss any neighborhood problems, safety issues and ways to reduce crime.  Strong support and generous donations to the Hazelwood Police Officers Benevolent Association are appreciated as well.
