No MO Trash Event in Hazelwood

MoDOT and the Missouri Department of Conservation’s Annual Trash Bash runs this year from April 15 to May 15.  It is no secret that there is a perpetrating litter issue in North St. Louis County, especially along the I-270 corridor.  In an attempt to tackle this litter problem, MoDOT is having a No MO Trash event along the outer roads of I-270 in North St. Louis County on Sat., April 27.  It will start with a media press conference at 8 am at the Village Square parking lot located in the northwest quadrant of I-270 and N. Lindbergh Blvd.  After the media event, volunteers will collect their safety vests and go to designated areas along the corridor to pick up trash from approximately 8:45 am to 10:15 am.  This is a great opportunity for high school students to earn some community volunteer hours doing this event.  Show your support for keeping the I-270 corridor clean and beautiful as our entry ways into Hazelwood!  Put it on your calendar and be there!  Thank you.
