Bommarito Nissan, Honda and Volkswagen of Hazelwood generated $111 million dollars in combined sales involving their new, pre-owned , service, parts and collision centers, announced Hazelwood economic developer David Cox
Bommarito automotive Group has invested more than $20 million dollars in building three large automotive dealerships in Hazelwood, hiring 150+ employees. Bommarito Nissan of Hazelwood has been in operation for several years, maturing into the 34th largest Nissan dealership in the United States out of 1,100 In 2009. Bommarito Nissan of Hazelwood ranked #1 in the state of Missouri and ranked #1 in the Midwest Region, including Chicago.
The Bommarito Honda Superstore of Hazelwood opened its doors for business in 2008 and received the prestigious Honda ‘President’s Award” during its first year. In 2009 this dealership ranked #2 in the St Louis area and ranked #5 In the Midwest Zone.
Last year, Bommarito celebrated the grand opening of its Volkswagen dealership in Hazelwood To commemorate this occasion, Bommarito formed a partnership with the Hazelwood Police Department to help foster peace and prosperity in the community for local residents. A vehicle roll-out event was held on-site to present two new Volkswagen Beetles to the police department for its D.A R E (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) Program and Citizen Volunteer Patrol Program. Another Volkswagen Routan Van was donated to a single mother who had fallen on hard times over the past year.
Overall. Bommarito Nissan, Honda and Volkswagen of Hazelwood sold a total of 6,112 new and used vehicles in 2009. This accounts for 44% of total sales for the Bommarito Automotive Group last year.

Cox went on to say that their location right along the I-270 corridor brings in customers driving from Illinois.
