The Records Unit is responsible for maintaining the physical security of our records as well as entering information from reports in the computer system. They also provide information for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), courts, insurance companies, and the general public.
Fees
You can request police reports from the Records Unit by phone or in person. The current fee for a copy of a report is $7 dollars. Local record checks are free of charge.
Buy Crash Reports Online
The Hazelwood Police Records Unit also has an online option for vehicle crash reports. The cost is $15 per vehicle crash report and can be obtained by visiting the Buy Crash website.
