City Wide Clean-Up Campaign

Litter Campaign

The Hazelwood Community Enrichment Commission is implementing a City Wide Clean-Up Campaign and is encouraging all Hazelwood businesses and residents to take some time to clean up the litter on and around their properties.

Litter along our streets is a constant problem. Left untouched, litter can pose a threat to local wildlife, make its way to storm drains which can lead to clogs, and negatively impact one's sense of community and safety.

Interested in volunteering for a clean up event?

The Community Enrichment Commission sponsors periodic clean up events at which they go out and pick up the litter along our major thoroughfares. They can always use additional help. If you are interested in joining in the effort to keep Hazelwood clean and green, please email your contact information to pfreynolds@hazelwoodmo.org. This is an excellent opportunity for high school students to earn the Community Service hours required for graduation.

Want to request litter pickup in a certain area?

You can email those details to pfreynolds@hazelwoodmo.org.
