Phantom Drive Road Diet Project Phase 1 and Phase 2
Between Missouri Bottom Road and James S. McDonnell Boulevard
Notice is hereby given to all interested persons that a public open house meeting will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 415 Elm Grove Lane, Hazelwood, MO 63042 on Wednesday December 8, 2021, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. No formal presentation will be made. Handicap access is available. All interested persons will be given an opportunity to make comments concerning the design of the Phantom Drive Road Diet Project. The proposed project elements are as follows:
- Road Diet – Reduce the existing 4 – 10’ wide lanes to 3 lanes
- 6’ wide sidewalk along the West side of the road
- New concrete pavement
- New curb and gutter
- Re-constructed entrances
- New landscaped medians
- Temporary Construction Easement as indicated on the plans
- Right of Way as indicated on the plans
- Permanent Easements as indicated on the plans
- Removal of Improvements as indicated on the plans
Preliminary plans, maps, plats, environmental documentation, and other detailed information prepared by the City of Hazelwood’s engineering consultant (CMT) will be available at the public meeting and are also available for public viewing and copying at Hazelwood City Hall.
Tentative schedules for right of way acquisition and construction will be discussed at the open house-style format.
