Facility Rentals
Let one of the Hazelwood Recreation facilities be the site of your next social gathering or business meeting. Areas within each of the recreation centers are available for wedding receptions, family gatherings, showers, business meetings, etc. Rental fees include the set-up of tables and chairs, trash receptacles and custodial services.
- Reservations may be made up to one year in advance
- A deposit is required to reserve all facilities
- Residents and non-residents must be 21 years of age to rent a facility and may serve alcohol to their guests at their functions. Alcohol may not be served on Sundays
- Both recreation centers are fully accessible and are non-smoking facilities
- Parties for individuals ages 13-19 are prohibited
- Not-for-profit organizations are required to pay all rental fees based on residency
Refunds & Cancellations
Written cancellation of a rental facility is required for a refund of fees.
- More than 30 days prior to the party - 50% of the damage deposit and all paid rental fees are refunded
- 30 days or less prior to the party - 100% of the damage deposit and 50% of rental fees paid are retained
Community Centers
Civic Center East has rooms that can accommodate 50 to 160 people. Practice space is available for basketball, volleyball, and soccer.

- Multi-Purpose Rooms 104, 105, or 106: Each room contains a kitchenette complete with microwave.
- Maximum Capacity: 60 people per room
- Resident fee: $300
- Non-Resident fee: $375
- Deposit: $100
- Multi-Purpose Rooms 104 and 105, or 105 and 106:
- Maximum Capacity: 100 people
- Resident fee: $450
- Non-Resident fee: $525
- Deposit: $200
- All Multi-Purpose Rooms 104, 105, and 106:
- Maximum Capacity: 160 people
- Resident fee: $600
- Non-Resident fee: $675
- Deposit: $300
Rental fees cover an eight-hour time block for use, including setup, use time, and cleanup. One additional hour of rental time may be reserved for $40.
The Community Center has several rooms for rent, accommodating anywhere from 24 to 350 people. Practice space is available for basketball, volleyball, and soccer.

- The Arts and Crafts Room offers outdoor access to the preschool playground, counter space and sink.
- Maximum Capacity: 48 people

- The Meeting Room and Lounge will features a full kitchenette.
- Maximum Capacity: 48 people

- The Warming Area Lounge is a charming area perfect for those cool weather gatherings as it features a working fireplace and is very private. It is only available October through March.

Sports Rentals
The Gymnasium at either Recreation Center may be rented prior to or after posted opening or closing times. Sports allowed: Basketball and volleyball.

- Non-Resident fee: $125 per 2 hours or $190 per three hours
